One of Tauranga’s leading, family-owned, accommodation providers is looking to replace our Head Housekeeper, who is heading overseas.
As our new head housekeeper, you will motivate, train and supervise our team of housekeepers and inspect all rooms and common areas to make sure they are meticulously clean and meet our high standards.
You will be an integral player in our busy team, servicing 27 rooms, conference centre, commercial kitchen and inhouse laundry.
The ideal candidate will:
• Show initiative and have a keen eye for detail
• Have excellent communication skills
• Take charge of the day to day running of the house keeping department
• Implement our cleaning, and time management systems and procedures
• Display a positive attitude, lead and motivate our team
• Liaise with Management and Receptionists
• Assist with any house keeping duties as needed
We offer a competitive salary and fixed shifts, namely, Sunday to Thursday, with Friday and Saturday as days off. You will be required to work Public holidays when on scheduled shift.
