Seaspray Motel We're a little vintage retro motel right on the beach. Yes, right on the beachside. You can even fish from the lawn. Come and see us. You will love it.

Yesterday the Coromandel experienced a hugely destructive weather event. We hugely sympathize with everyone on the Eastern sea board.

Just letting you all know that we sat here in a bubble. Steady rain was the worst we got. So its business as usual at the Seaspray and we feel grateful for having dodged that particular weather bullet.

Jamie went out from the motel kayak fishing and the snapper were biting. Nice snapper Jamie.

The Pohutukawas are flowering and its still only November. Hoping for a long hot summer because that's the way the story goes - the earlier they flower - the better the summer. Hope that plays out because we deserve it after the winter we've all had.
