Our calf-rearing nursery is getting prepared for the new arrivals in a few weeks, and we can barely contain our excitement! The anticipation is building as we get ready to welcome the newest additions to our farm family. Exciting times ahead with wobbly, 4 day old calves to nurture and love, watching them take their first steps, and witnessing their curious nature unfold. It's going to be an incredible journey, and we can't wait to share it with all of you! 🐮💕

Memories from last season are still so vivid as each group of calves arrive, their curious eyes scanning their new surroundings, and then suddenly, they're off! They jump and run for joy, their little legs moving a mile a minute as they explore every nook and cranny. It's a sight to behold, watching them discover the world around them, and it's a true marvel how quickly they settle in and make themselves at home. Words cannot describe how much they fill our hearts with joy, love, and a sense of wonder. Seeing them thrive and grow brings us so much happiness and reminds us of the beauty and magic of nature. 💕🐮

Ever heard of a chicken tractor? This is our new trial model chicken tractor — a mobile home for our hens. As we move them across the paddock, the hens feast on insects and weeds while naturally fertilising the soil with their manure. We move the tractor weekly to provide the hens with fresh pasture, keeping the land healthy and the hens happy. It’s a simple, productive way of caring for the paddock while raising strong, healthy birds.
