Ruapehu Country Lodge situated between Ohakune and Raetihi, offers quality, hosted, bed and breakfast accommodation. We have four guest rooms all with ensuite bathrooms, and comfy superking beds. Stunning drive there and back. Mountains are are showing off all their most magnificent glory to us all. I love this...
More snow coming so skis are getting dusted off for next week when the weather clears. Both Whakapapa and Turoa have good terrain open.

I can see trails are being worked on, on the High Noon.
Top carpark was almost full.

I think I have to dust off the skis and head up soon.

Checked my bees today and even if it has been pretty cold in our region for the last few months, my girls are very happy, have lots of honey to take them through winter and there is a very healthy amount of bees in the hive. Looking sooo much better than last year..I think tweeks I have done have improved their success in overwintering in a pretty cold damp region of NZ. My happy girls... I am happy too 😊
