Join our ski club for accommodation options. You can stay at our "ski-in ski-out" lodge located on the Whakapapa ski field or at our Ohakune Alpine Village lodge - where you can drive right to the front door. The Pinnacle Ski Club has been established for over fifty years with both lodges available all year round. The mix of members includes families, singles and a large portion of long term membe

Easiest way to beat the traffic? Come up to the lodge in the afternoon, grab a spot for your car, ride the Rangatira up and ski into the lodge. Next morning, roll out of bed, enjoy a hot breakfast, then ski out for first tracks on the mountain while everyone else is still trying to get to the bottom lift. Why would you want to do it any other way?

Road closures and full carparks are trapping visitors in queues.

The annual Whakapapa working bee was completed this weekend. 2 full days of hard work to get it ready for the season ahead.

A few of the tasks completed were:
- A thorough clean of the kitchen and pantry.
- Glass was replaced on the back door.
- Replacement signage installed to the exterior.

Amazing enthusiasm from everyone involved. Thanks so much to Ian, Kaaren, Zach, Anais and Rob.

And the weather really put it on. Can’t beat a Whakapapa sunset.
