For more than three decades, we’ve been proud to call Marlborough home.

At the heart of this place flows the Wairau River. It carves ancient gravel beds, moderating the climate, and shaping the soils that define our wines. Its influence brings brightness, energy, and purity to the fruit we grow, and it plays a vital role in the character of Whitehaven's Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and beyond.

Across our portfolio of 15 wines, each bottle reflects a different expression of this remarkable landscape. Wines shaped by river, land, coast and light.

Exciting news...lovely Woodside will be reopening to guests again from mid February 2026. Zach, Lucy and family are relocating from the United States back to NZ....checkout their new website www.woodsidebnb.co.nz . We wish them all the very best for the future and as much happiness as we enjoyed in this special place.

Cheese platter for our guests.....homemade chutney, our own nectarines and walnuts, Marlborough grown strawberries, blueberries and tomatoes....in fact everything is from NZ except, (ironically) the grapes!
