With the land having been given to Maori as compensation for previous stolen land under the Landless Natives Act 1906, has now become a Taonga (treasure). we were given for further generations to come. The Lodge therefore, offers a place to provide peace and tranquility amongst some of the most pristine forest in the world today. It offers a place to wonder along the beach and explore the eco systems of the river, the forest, the land and the sea.

Waitutu Forest, situated in south-east
