🌿 A Local Favourite in Tūrangi 🌿

One of the walks we often recommend to our guests (and enjoy ourselves!) is the beautiful Tongariro River Trail.

Following the stunning Tongariro River through native bush, this family-friendly trail offers easy walking and cycling, peaceful river views, and plenty of spots to stop and take in the scenery. It’s a fantastic way to experience the natural beauty of the region.

For an extra adventure, make a stop at the Tongariro National Trout Centre before continuing along the trail.

Whether you’re visiting for a weekend getaway or a longer stay, this is one of our favourite local spots to unwind and enjoy the outdoors.

Our new boundary fence is coming along nicely and should be finished by the end of the week 👷‍♂️🪵

We’ve taken on board guest feedback, especially from our campers, about the park feeling a little too open — so this upgrade will help create more of a private, cosy holiday park feel while still keeping the open spaces everyone enjoys 🏕️🌿

We’re always working on little improvements around the property to make your stay even better and can’t wait for everyone to see the finished result soon 🤍

Our brand new spa pools have officially arrived and we are so excited to get them installed ready for winter ♨️❄️

There’s never a perfect time to complete upgrades like this, so we do sincerely apologise for the temporary inconvenience while the installation takes place. The spa pools will remain closed in the meantime while everything is fitted and set up properly.

This upgrade is something we’ve been looking forward to for a long time and is all part of us continuing to invest back into the park each year to improve the experience for our guests 🏕️💙
