Until recently, even neighbours didn’t know Beech Hill was hidden within the forest, now visible after the removal of the magical yet aging forest.

It’s been 11 weeks of a major forestry logging operation, which isn’t yet completed or even cleaned up, so it’s really appreciated that they saw it as a special spot from the road, while work is still in progress.

🌲Sure do miss the dappled light, shade, privacy and shelter, but now guests will enjoy the light, sunshine and views … always looking for the good in the bad🌞🌲

Day 1 - Forest logging

Beginning today, (for safety reasons, prompted by the April tornado, tree maturity and fire risks), the process of removing the 33 yr old trees surrounding Beech Hill and some other parts, (not all of the property) begins 😬

We will very much miss the trees that we have lived and grown with for the last 19 years, and the shade, shelter, privacy, bird life and back drop that they have provided 🌲🏡💚

But looking forward, it is exciting planning for the new exotic trees and plantings that will grace Beech Hill for years to come 🌲🏡

💔😥 We will never know how or why Medical Staff got it so wrong for so long, but after finally being diagnosed last week with Stage 4 bowel and liver cancer, it is devastating that Emma Eyles is now riding high and free 🦄

Monroe (10) is now without her parent, so any help, if even a dollar, to go towards her village raising her, would be much appreciated 🙏❤️
