As some of you know, this Monday is the 7 year Anniversary for the Waiau Tavern May 20th 2017.
Also we bow to the Waiau Lodge Hotel, The Grand Lady, as it is also her Anniversary of the fire on the 21st, for which we dont celebrate, but will always remember.
Quite an emotional time of the year, and we want to extend our hearts to you on Sunday. We are not putting anything special on, but do come down and celebrate the baby brothers Anniversary by supporting your local kick ass Waiau Tavern Pool Team as there will be eats out on the table for all. It is in honour of the Hotel as well. A real family affair!

Its taken a long time to get to closing this page down, but as I go to shut down this page, I just cant do it. All that is needed for closure, is more info on the fire, so our Grand Lady can rest in peace. We appeal for that, as we feel the authorities have forgotten us.................

My apologies for the state I am in since the fire. My owners are still waiting to hear from the police as to why I died.

However, I will no longer be here, even in debri, after Christmas, so I wanted to let you all know that I have loved you all over the many years and will never forget you all.

After Christmas I will be swept away, but please look after my little brother, The Waiau Tavern. Hes doing his best to get through this Covid thingy.

My last post will be when they take my dust away.
