🌿 LABOUR WEEKEND GETAWAY?

Looking for somewhere special to spend the long weekend? You’re in luck — we still have availability at Orokawa Bay Retreat! Gather your favourite people and escape to Orokawa Bay for a few days of good food, great company and plenty of time to relax.

With four ensuite rooms sleeping up to 8 guests, there’s plenty of space to spread out and enjoy time together. Cook up a feast in the open-plan kitchen, share a long lunch on the sunny deck, settle in with a glass of w**e and take in the spectacular views across to Tūhua/Mayor Island.

And when the sun goes down? Slip into the outdoor hot tub, look up at the stars and let the weekend stretch out a little longer. ✨

If you’re feeling like exploring, there’s plenty on the doorstep too — cycle the Hauraki Rail Trail, head out for a coastal or Kaimai walk, spend some time at Waihī Beach or discover more of the beautiful Coromandel.

At Orokawa Bay Retreat, we know that everyone’s idea of the perfect escape looks a little different. For some guests, it’s lacing up the walking shoes, filling the day with adventure.

Over six years ago, we began an exciting new chapter when we became the owners of Orokawa Bay Retreat. 🌊

Since then, we’ve loved creating a place where guests can truly relax, reconnect with nature, and experience this incredible part of the coast. One of the best parts has been welcoming people from all around the world, sharing our favourite local walks, hidden gems, and adventures, and introducing them to our wonderful community. We love helping our guests discover why we find this place so special.
