Great opportunity for side-by-side accommodation. Perfect for a couple and a parent or teen. They can have independence but still be close and supported. Our first visit through the forestry that is adjoining Highway 22 Lodge today. This is going to make the most beautiful scenic horse trekking adventures we could hope for. We drove for at least 12km and only touched the surface. This will make a beautiful spot for Pony Club camps or anyone who wants to spend a day or night out in gorgeous woods.

People all over the country will be able visit and stay a night in one of the accommodation rooms, enjoy a spa or relax on massage chair, inspect a horse float or do some shopping. Also they can bring there own horse for a stay over, Forest trekking also available with 5km walk ways.

2026 Highway 22 Lodge will be opening a specialty therapeutic tools and supplements shop. This is something im very passionate about and love helping people with. I have myself worked with some of the best vets around the world and been entrusted by a major vetinary hospital in rehabilitation of 100s close to 1000s I'd say in 40 years of horses and seen what works and what doesn't. There are so many fantastic aids out there but the are so often hard to source and often incredibly expensive. Often these aids helps horses with behavior issues that have come from pain.

We will be growing this side of the business especially with large items like jumps, arenas,solariums,multiple troughs,feed bins,electric fencing materials, equi borrows,stables both permanent and portable.

Highway 22 lodge will have a solarium set up in the stable area for use. This is a fantastic tool for many reasons.
Horse solariums use infrared and sometimes ultraviolet (UV) light to improve circulation, relax muscles, and promote recovery, making them suitable for both everyday wellness and rehabilitation of injuries and soreness. Solariums can be used for warming up before exercise, aiding post-exercise recovery by flushing lactic acid, drying horses after bathing or workouts, and providing therapeutic benefits like improved blood flow and skin health. For rehabilitation, they accelerate healing and calm horses, especially those on box rest or with stiffness.
