We’ve just weaned Latte, Boo Boo and Dobby, and let’s just say they’ve been making sure all our staff know about it. Luckily, our sweet Angora goat Timmy is there to show them the ropes and teach them where the good snacks are! Using the rocks as their own little step ladder to reach the tastiest leaves. Talk about going the extra mile for a snack!

🌿 WHAT’S BLOOMING WEDNESDAY 🌿

Spring is putting on a beautiful show around Waipu Caves Farm Park, and this week we’re spotting one of our native favourites - Pūawananga (white clematis).

This beautiful native climber produces large white flowers that really stand out amongst the greenery. And you don’t even have to go far to see it! From our office, look across the carpark towards C Camp and you can spot the Pūawananga blooming amongst the trees.

Pūawananga is endemic to New Zealand, meaning it naturally occurs here and nowhere else in the world.

So next time you’re visiting, take a moment to look a little closer at what’s growing around you - there’s plenty to discover! 🌿

Mudmania 2 on 27th Sept. A great turnout with over 300 mud monsters. Become a mud monster in our next event or book the course for your scout group or school or club. Heck, I got an idea, sports club challenge. Challenge another club to compete. Maybe All blacks verse Warriors, Football verse Basket Ball.
