There was a little more dancing than usual at Waitomo Village Chalets this weekend.

We had the pleasure of hosting a wonderful group of Morris Dancers, who made themselves at home with us for the weekend and put our facilities to good use for an evening of dinner, music and of course, dancing.

We love seeing this space come alive like this, with groups gathering, sharing a meal and enjoying time together.

Freshly baked treats, hot coffees, and a whole lot of gratitude.

Our team put together a homemade morning tea for the staff at Waitomo Caves School, complete with a platter of treats and fresh coffees.

It was our way of saying thank you for the wonderful work they do in the village, and for the times they generously share their field with us for parking.

We’re grateful to be part of such a supportive community here in Waitomo.
