Daylight saving has ended, this means shorter days beach combing … but the treasures are still there in the dark.

We are going to head out in the dark one of these nights very soon with a black light looking for Uranium glass.

We had an amazing weekend at Rochelle's place!
The house is located very close to the beach and its design is just spectacular, full of original art, stones and glass from the beach, it was very welcoming, warm and felt like home.
The lounge, and dinning are very cozy with gas fireplace, which heats up the space very quickly.
The kitchen is well stocked with all the possible appliances, and utensils so we could cook our favourite meals.
The host is very generous left us loads of coffee capsules.
We enjoyed a lot the outdoor space with fireplace and spa.

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay. lovely house, great views, quiet. attention to detail and nice touches. lots of amenities. comfortable bed and furniture. heaps of space.

A lovely house with direct access to the beach - if possible, make sure you get to see the sunset from there, it truly is spectacular.
We especially appreciated the fully equipped kitchen, all the beach accessories provided and the family games, it really made for a very relaxed family vacation. And of course the spa at night with a special view of the starry sky.
Rochelle was always very quick and helpful in her replies, thank you for everything!

We purchased The Hideaway 3 years ago and want to show you the transformation.
We transferred out many, many plants to Mr Hideaways Mum when we purchased the Hideaway, put in more lawn, easy care gardens and paths. Much less maintenance.

We purchased The Hideaway 3 years ago and want to show you the transformation. We loved the outdoor space from day one, but Mrs Hideaway wanted an 8 seater table for our quests to use, here is the before and after, one of the best extensions we have done.

This is the second bedroom, we made a few changes here, we swapped the bedside lights, removed the little bedside shelves and swapped out the curtains. Clean, tidy and crisp.

This is the Master Bedroom walk-in wardrobe, we haven’t done much here except keep it crisp and clean and we swapped our light to a censor light, as you walk into the wardrobe the light comes on.
