Weather forcast tomorrow insn't great, but hey the Top Pub has dinner covered, pop in sit by the fire and have pizza and beer only $30! no dishes. Or if its the prefect home cooked meal you promised takeaway two pizza and a bottle of wine, sure to please. Choice of Pinot noir, Sav blanc or Pinot Gris all from Mathahiwi range.

August at the Top Pub & 1860 Restaurant

It's that time of year again! After another busy season, our Head Chef Michael is heading home to Austria for a well-earned break with family and friends. Tasting new foods and gathering inspiration.....

During August, our kitchen team will also enjoy a little downtime, so 1860 Restaurant will operate with slightly reduced opening hours, and we'll be offering a smaller seasonal menu while we recharge for the busy months ahead.

Leading the kitchen in Michael's absence is Adriana, who has recently joined us from London. Adriana brings plenty of experience and enthusiasm, and we're excited for you to enjoy her delicious dishes over the coming weeks, her desserts are a must, even if that all you come in for!

And don't worry—there's still plenty happening at the Top Pub!

🍕 Tuesday – Pizza & Pint $30
Takeaway 2 pizza and a bottle of Matahiwi wine $60 - sorted date night!

🍔 Wednesday – Burger & Beer - $20
Upgrade to burger, beer & fries for $25
Takeaway 2 orignal cheese burgers and fries $30

We look forward to September, the lauch of our new Spring menu celebrating the very best of seasonal Wairarapa produce and fresh local flavours.

Untill then come in out of the cold, keep warm by the fire, we will always have a hearty bowl of Irish Stew, or a good steak on the stove.
