"Up there with best B&B accommodation we have experienced. Wellington City Cottages (5 Tonks Grove) is at the top of list of the best accommodation experienced by us anywhere in the world. Feversham B&B in York, I recall, would be the only comparable place similar.
The difference between the two is that WCC is self-catering (cont-breakfast optional).
The accommodation is modern (including modern, easy to operate whiteware), exceptionally clean, well maintained and serviced, centrally located to Cuba Street's plethora of diverse and excellent eating establishments, and visitor attractions are within easy walking distances (Te Papa Museum, Botanical Gardens, Wellington Museum, Mt Victoria, Lambton Quay and the Waterfront weekend market).
Staying at WCC contributed in no small way to a thouroghly enjoyable and memorable summer holiday in Wellington.
More than highly recommended."
