A little HTC rebuild update…
Under the cover of darkness tonight the front face has been rebuilt and the signs are back on. We’re still one sign short after a local oxygen thief decided it would look better somewhere else and tore off all the signs. The flags also continue to be “borrowed” within a day by Lyall’s aspiring interior decorators.
We even installed solar lighting so HTC could be a beacon of goodwill for ships passing and those enjoying the bay at night. It lasted three days before the local kickers found it, broke it and took a bunch of useless lights with no solar panels attached bach to their sailers graves.
No matter. The bar top gets rebuilt next fine weekend and we’ll be ready for Spring into Lyall.
The funny thing about people who only know how to destroy is that every time they knock HTC back, we rebuild it better.
HTC isn’t going anywhere. We imagine a world where fun is appreciated and left for people to enjoy.
We’re going to war… with better bar attitudes. 🍻🤙
