Westport NZ Promoting tourism development in Westport and the Buller district, the northern West Coast of the South Island/Te Wai Pounamu, New Zealand

Advance Northern West Coast is a volunteer-led group working on visitor promotion and tourism industry development for the Buller District. We've received funding from the Buller District Council for our work. This, together with membership fees, has formed our initial operating budget. Our team has contributed over 900 volunteer hours to advance the cause of more effectively promoting our region.

Key achievements to date include:
- The westport.nz website
- Westport Brochure (what to do in and around Westport)
- New street map for Westport (printed annually)
- representing our region at the Top of the South tourism trade fair
- streamlining administration of the duty motel system in Westport
- part-funding Punakaiki's activity map
