Due to the severe weather, Motutara Farm will be closed until Sunday 25th Jan. Very sorry - the unprecedented volume and intensity of rain means the grounds need time to dry out, and there are slips etc requiring repair. Hopefully some hot sun & hard mahi will have us back to normal from Sunday! Thanks for your understanding.

Summer not too far off now! This season we'll be open for camping 29th November to 2nd March. Bookings essential from 15th December to 9th February.

Power is back on - we will be open again from today! Remember, last day for camping this season is Feb 26.

Update on reopening: we are planning to reopen this Sunday Feb 19! That could change if Northpower announce a further delay in restoring power, so keep an eye on this page if you're planning to head out. Thanks again for all your support.

**Motutara Farm currently closed**

Hi all, hope you have managed to weather the wrath of Gabrielle safely.

Whananaki currently has no power and it may be some time (possibly a week or more) before it is restored. We also expect there will be significant damage around the campground - Bruce will be assessing that over the next couple of days.

Due to these issues, Motutara Farm is closed for the moment. If you have a booking over the next couple of weeks, keep an eye on our facebook for updates. Bruce and Helen are unable to respond to emails at the moment, but feel free to message the page and I (Daniel) will pass on what information I have.

Hi everyone - looking forward to great summer once the weather (hopefully) comes to the party!

We're already pretty fully booked, so because of that and to let us focus on getting the poor old sodden grounds and roads up to s***f in time for the Boxing Day influx, we're not going to take any new bookings for the period December 16th to February 6th. Apologies for any inconvenience.

If you've missed out, we'll still be taking bookings for Feb 7th to 26th. From Feb 27th onwards we will be closed for camping as we're chocka with weddings for all of March!
