Yaay Our Museum is ready to OPEN again 16/17 March. Exciting😊

you will find detailed information about everything happening on the opening weekend of 16-17 March. All scheduled events are FREE to attend.
There is also a HUGE combined schools Kapa Haka event planned at 2.00pm we are just finalising the information to be shared so keep an eye out for that.

And if two floors of amazing new Museum spaces to view and a weekend full of entertainment isn't enough for an epic day out...... over the way in the War Memorial the Brick Show is happening so if you like Lego then you will be very happy... link is here.

Update...our temporary museum is closi ng this week. See below for re-opening in January.

***RIDGWAY STREET PREMISES CLOSING***
Moana the Moa is getting ready to leave the building and our wonderful Front of House team member Anne is waving goodbye.
Why??
Because the Ridgway street location is CLOSING this FRIDAY 23rd NOVEMBER!!!
This location has been in operation for over two years now whilst the main building went through it's overhaul... but of course we are gearing up to re-open next year.
So for now...it's "toodle-pip" from Anne and Moana and of course Pat and Kath who have all kept the public space of the Museum ticking over nicely.
We'll keep you all up to date with progress leading up to our massive re-launch 😁 but in the meantime if you're wanting any treasures from our shop....best you get there THIS WEEK!!!
