💔 Rest in Peace, Boss 🕊️

We had known Boss and her family for many years. She wasn’t just a customer at Castlecliff Hotel, she was part of our pub family, mum of our dear friend Piki. ❤️

What makes this even harder to believe is that I saw Boss that morning. We talked as normal, never knowing it would be the last time. To then hear that night that she had passed away in an accident was absolutely heartbreaking.

It was lovely to meet Boss’s siblings who came from around New Zealand and Australia. Seeing her family together showed just how much she was loved.

To Piki and the entire family, our deepest condolences and love are with you.
