we had some lovely guests from the uk, said they were cycling, presumed the rail trail...no only 4200 kms around NZ. Amazing adventures, we had a fun night.They don't stop long ,on their bikes and off each day,next stop from us was Paihia

what a funny old summer ,beautiful weather till mid Jan ,then a tsunami ,cyclone Dovi and covid.
Hopefully we will now get overseas visitors coming back to our shores as the hospo and tourism sector are on their knees ,no thanks to our Hopeless PM and govt.
Many thanks to the hard working farmers ,essential workers ,nurses and doctors who have worked endlessly for us all
grapes are ready for picking shortly and olives aren't too far away either so busy times are upon us

fab news that Terra restaurant in Paihia Bay of Islands has resisted the covid pandemic and open for business as it is the best ...yummy delish food ,can't wait to get down there againStill have a cheeky little Northland red wine

gosh! haven't written anything for ages ,well,we are covid free and double vaxed ,but now have covid alive and well in northland due to ignorant low lives who have put a lot of their whanau in jeopardy .Hopefully lockdown will be short and everyone gets vaxed otherwise poor old Northland will be another statistic of going down the gurgler

unfortunately due to covid our international guests have dried up so now it is just kiwis we have to tempt to visit ,check out Northland ,maybe play golf at Kauri cliffs or some of the other great golf course we have or just explore and enjoy our food and wine ,so come and have a few days at Waiwurrie...love to see you
