“Al Hoota Rest House” the Resort with a heavenly atmosphere, situated on top of the mountain of Birkat Al Sharaf about 20 Km up the mountain from the famous Al Hoota caves, connecting the Dakhliya and Batinah regions, in Wilayat al Hamra. Located amongst the unspoiled nature surrounded by the Hajar Mountains and offers a commanding view of the mountains and its rugged rock-strewn countryside.
We take pride in offering you a great place to stay on top of the hill, with a beautiful scenic view and pleasant uniform weather all through the year. The temperature is around 25 degree in the summer, thus making it an ideal place to spend the summers, and around 5-10 degrees in the winter. Although one can visit Al Hoota Rest House all year round.
Al Hoota Rest house offers 30 spacious rooms, all elegant and comfortable with attached bathrooms, fitted with modern amenities. The rooms are designed to offer the traveler, modern comforts ensconced in the ambience of the past. We have Chalets with interconnecting rooms, baby cots and ample parking space. A Cutely designated outdoor children’s play area to keep the kids busy and an outdoor sand volleyball court for the spots freak.
Our in-house Multi cuisine”Al-Alamain Restaurant” restaurant serves delicious Continental, Arabic, Chinese and Indian dishes. Open from 7.30am to 9 pm. Our experienced and polite staff will take care of your valuable guests and we assure the best service.
We are close to various tourism locations like Al Hoota caves, Nizwa fort, Misfat al Abreen and the magical view of Haat and Balad Seet villages from the top. It’s an ideal family getaway for the weekend, a lovely party location, corporate meetings/conferences, or, a great place for tourist to stay and explore the beauty of Oman.
