Last night Bastimentos suffered a tragic fire at our beloved Mami's Restaurant and house.
Thankfully no one was injured but she lost EVERYTHING. She has the clothes she had on and her handbag.
If you can donate anything, please do and share the fundraiser for us.
She wants to rebuild.
For those asking about insurance. We are not able to get fire insurance on Bastimentos because there's no fire department here (we don't even have roads, just paths), so she didn't have insurance, sadly.

Brunch With Friends. Finally got to Casa Acuario. SO GOOD!!

Today I made 3 types of crack gravy. 1 regular crack gravy, 1 gluten free crack gravy & 1 dairy free crack gravy.
I also made gluten free stuffing with a super easy blender bread recipe & it’s DELICIOUS.
Tomorrow the legs start cooking in the sous vide.
