We are SO grateful for our amazing team, many of whom grew up within walking distance of our small resort. They were chosen for their kindness, work ethic, and authentic enthusiasm in welcoming visitors to their pristine part of the world. Some are working in hospitality for the first time, yet they do so with dignity and genuine enthusiasm.

We ❤️ dogs at Bird Island, and were thrilled when Lola, our resident lady dog, recently brought eight little pups into our world. They are happy, healthy, and very squirmy!

Saturday night = Japanese dinner night. Tuna tower, shrimp tempura, poké bowl, veggie rice noodles, and more. Not sure Snickers bar cake has far eastern origins, but it was super deliciosa too 😋.
