If you’re feeling adventurous, it all begins with a boat ride to Salt Creek, then a walk through the village and into Bastimentos National Marine Park. A refreshing waterfall waits along the way, and Playa Larga is the reward at the end.

Punta Vieja is full of life if you know where to look. 🌿

This hibiscus won't look the same tomorrow. Each bloom lasts only one day, though the plant keeps flowering. Originally native to Asia, it now thrives throughout Panama.

Just steps away, the Lady of the Night Orchid takes the opposite approach, native to Panama's mangroves and blooming only after dark to attract its moth pollinators.
