Camaroncito EcoResort & Beach is an exclusive, ecologically conscious, rustic resort located on 16 acres of rainforest on the Central Caribbean coast of Panama, locally called “Costa Abajo”. Total travel time from Panama City is under four hours. Our 600-meter protected beach cove of soft sand is perfect for swimming and playing in the waves! Camaronicito is the creation and heart work of Ernesto and Sarah, who are avid travelers, beach bums, foodies, and salsa dancers. They have designed Camaroncito to embody all of the things they love best: a return to nature, including buildings hand fashioned with local wood, warm Caribbean water, soft light sand, lush rainforest filled with wildlife AND the creature comforts of solar powered fans, music and ice ... and plenty of HOT water in the open air showers. Our minimum stay for individual cabana rental is 5 nights, though whole resort rental and special weekend packages may be as short as 2 nights. This is to ensure guests feel a genuine escape from modern life, the gift of reconnection with nature, and an opportunity to be inspired by the ocean, the rainforest and the wildlife. ACCOMODATIONS
- We are exclusive and private, with only 4 wooden beachfront cabanas.
- Each has a luxurious queen bed, large screened windows, ceiling fan, bedside lights, private bathroom with hot water open air shower, stocked mini-fridge (per guest preference) and coffee/tea service, a large roofed deck with seating and hammock, and an unobstructed view of the ocean.
- Daily housekeeping services. Linens and towels are changed every three days. Guest laundry is complementary on linen change days.
- Each cabana is equipped with drinking water, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, anti-insect spray made from essential oils, knee-high rubber boots for hiking in the rainforest, headlamps, umbrellas, bamboo beach mats, turkish beach towels, and USB charging.
- Camaroncito is designed to be an adults only getaway for cabana rental, but we offer whole resort rental where children are welcome. FACILITIES
- A spacious social area to enjoy delicious meals, self-serve snacks and open bar. Open area for yoga, dancing, karaoke, playing board games or just hanging out.
