Panama city (Albrook) - Meteti, by Bus (Chiva): $9.
This bus passes through smaller villages such as Agua Fria and Santa fe, where there are also shops and restaurants. it leaves very regularly, around 2 times per hour. We recommend you take a bus around 9.00 A.M. so that you arrive in Meteti around 2.00 P.M. That leaves you time to explore the place and be rested well for your next day(s) in the area.

FAQs (finances, groceries and restaurants)
Q: I am coming to Meteti, are there ATMs (Cajeros)?
A: Nearest ATM is a little bit further up the road of Meteti. Hotel Felicidad is close by; only 5 minutes by taxi or car, 25 minute walk. So if you are heading for Meteti, make sure you stop at this ATM BANCO Nacional if you need any cash.
Q: Can I pay by card at hotel Meteti?
A: No. you can only pay in cash. Therefore, bringing sufficient cash before coming prevents you from encountering any inconveniences with regard to payments.
Q: Are there shops nearby?
A: The many mini-supers can provide you all the groceries you need. Fresh fruits and vegetables are also sold daily in the streets.
Q: I Don't feel like cooking... Are there any restaurants nearby?
A: Yes! in fact, Restaurante Estrella is right next door from hotel Felicidad. A little bit further down the road, into the village of Meteti, there are Fondas and restaurants.
