Who we are, our vision:
We are a French-Canadian couple in our late thirties. Traveling lovers, we have discovered Mexico and Central America countries for almost 2 years. We have learned Spanish and tasted the different cultures before deciding to finally throw the anchor in Panama: Dreamland.... We are simple, authentic, playful, loving pe
ople and life. Respectful of nature and the environment, we also appreciate and promote good fitness and healthy foods.We also love human contact and learn from others, their culture and customs. Nadine and Patrick; Passionate travellers and proud to welcome you with ease in our new Guest House: Mi Refugio La Belle City, just 5 minutes from the beach with a magnificent view overlooking the pool and an enchanting site overlooking the nature and fruit trees! Established in the first place in Panama City where we started our guest house and fortified our good reputation (for 1 year and a half on Airbnb), so we decided to leave the traffic and horns of the city to establish us in the countryside. Our shelter is located in Coronado, a peaceful place, a little less touristy and also very safe (a community with security 24/24). Likewise, great location, just one hour from Panama City on the Pacific side! In addition, just 5 minutes from the ocean, you can enjoy multiple volcanic white sandy beaches dotted with black, ideal for surfing or other water activities! It is particularly simple and very easy to reach Coronado by bus from Albrook Terminal,or directly by car. In our region; of course you can enjoy the beach, but you can also visit the Valley of Anton with his thermal baths (volcanic water), Laguna de San Carlos, the National Park Altos de Campana, etc.. Moreover, we are located halfway for the visit of Santa Catalina and Isla Coiba: one of the most heavenly places where you can make an amazing diving and snorkeling !!!Ideal for those who like typical places a little less crowded! From our guest house, you can also visit the Panama Canal, Gamboa Park and Gatun Lake(National Park Chagres with the Embera indigenous ) or The Soberania Park (Pipeline Road) in the Panama region, only 1 hour by car or 1h30 by bus from Coronado. Besides being close to several beautiful places and attractions to visit, in the city of Coronado you are also close to services, so central to everything. You can find many good restaurants, 3 large supermarkets and 3 commercial centers , if you ever want to make shopping or prepare your own meals.You also have access to a bus service,in addition the services of emergency and hospital nearby. Likewise, by being close to all amenities, this is an ideal place for sea lovers, nature and hiking for the adventure and discovery tours! Our guest house, close to the sea; offers 3 spacious bedrooms with access to the pool, on the terrace, at the Rancho, and all this in a beautiful setting surrounded by nature, flower gardens and fruit trees. We have a great BBQ on a giant grill (of Panamanian style) and an outdoor kitchen in the Rancho, exclusive for guests! And, designed to that you can relax in a comfortable hammock on the poolside while admiring the splendid landscape where you can let yourself lulled by the soft breeze...Or just quietly read a good book or simply chill and prepare the next sequence of your journey. TRANSPORTATION: We can propose to you a personalized shuttle service for your displacements to and from Rio Hato Airport (in the province of Cocle) or Tocumen Airport, at competitive prices. Likewise, we have a contact in Panama City with excellent prices on car rental to satisfy our customers.
