This is the drive off the main road. You can see we pass through our neighbors property (the only one other than the monkeys 😊). Our next step is to purchase private access. Not near as fun as decorating a bungalow but it’s a necessity!

Big Daddy’s in Puerto Armuelles is another of our fave places to stay, eat, socialize, or just enjoy the view. And both Tsunami and Big Daddy’s Host an expat night once a week. Great way to meet great people! And they welcomed us like family!

It’s amazing how many differences there are on the coastline of Puerto Armuelles to Punta Burica. Just 20 miles!

Our neighbors chicken and her babies. 🐓 Ryan was more excited about the chickens than anything else we showed him. They also have a pig. It’s a magic pig I think. The first time we saw him, he was huge! The next time he was about half the size and the next, he was little bitty! 🐷 😂

On the left is our place with the taller roofs.
You can see our neighbors palapas to the right of our 3 bungalows. They have a few little family houses there in the back. When I pan over to the left you will see nothing but trees, sand, and water. Sometimes people ask us why we made this purchase and why we plan to live here. This is the answer! 🏝

This is the sign at the main road for our neighbors little bar. They open when they feel like it for their amigos. That’s the life! No rules, no schedules, and no rush!

The pharmacy and doctor I used on our last trip in Puerto. It took about 15 mins from walk in to walk out and for a shot, medications and the office visit, it cost $35 with no insurance!
