Our podcast community has evolved from a web of DMs and emails, to live shows and meet-ups, and now bi-annual listener surf trips thanks to WaterWays Travel . 2025 marked our first trip to the longest left in the world, Chicama, Peru. We took over the Chicama Boutique Hotel with a crew of 34 listeners from around the globe for one week and truly had the time of our lives. One year later now and these friendships have endured and the group chat is still going strong. Major thanks to the staff at the beautiful Chicama Boutique Hotel, the incredibly hard working and talented filmers, photographers, and boat drivers. And also to Alex Hemingway Alex Hemingway who came on this trip as a friend, and took the time and interest to collect all this footage and package it as you see it now. Predicted conditions: SW 213° / 5ft to 6ft / 16 Sec, these are great conditions for Chicama, we expect waves of 5ft to 6ft running all the way from the Point to the Pier and for Foiler La Punta at least 10ft bombs and Connecting all the way into the bay.
