Not for being a stop on the way to Machu Picchu.
For being a destination on its own — the Inca
capital, the Inti Raymi festival, Sacsayhuamán,
Qorikancha, and a Plaza de Armas that has been
the heart of this city for 500 years.
This is why the world keeps voting for Cusco.
