Hola, bienvenidos a nuestros alojamientos, en ellos hemos puesto toda nuestra dedicación y cariño para que su estadía sea la mejor. Quisimos reflejar ese amor en el nombre, MUNAY es una palabra quechua y es un concepto andino que habla de amor, afecto y respeto. Somos Artistas, nos gusta la fotografía, el cine, la pintura y el arte en general, por ello podremos darles datos útiles de actividades culturales o sitios interesantes para ver. Cusco es una ciudad impresionante, llena de cultura y tradición, creemos que nuestra ciudad es mágica y bella, disfrutarán de ella a cada instante, hay muchos sitios para ver, actividades culturales, gastronomía y fiestas tradicionales que debes conocer y en cada rincón, algo interesante que hará que tu visita sea rica e inolvidable.
Los departamentos (Munay House 1 and Munay House 2) están ubicados en el Centro Histórico de la ciudad, a 5 cuadras de la Plaza Mayor, en donde podrás encontrar las principales plazas y calles de arquitectura inca y colonial, bancos, museos, galerías, restaurantes, cafés, discotecas y bares, así como tiendas comerciales y de artesanías; a 3 cuadras está el Templo del Sol – Qorikancha, este fue el epicentro de la religiosidad y poder inca, actualmente hay un interesante Museo de Arte Contemporáneo, una pinacoteca con arte colonial y los restos arqueológicos del antiguo templo inca dedicado al Dios Sol.
A dos cuadras tienes un supermercado muy surtido en donde podrás encontrar todo lo necesario para tu estadía. Otro punto importante a resaltar es que estarás muy cerca, a sólo media cuadra, del terminal de buses que te llevarán a Ollantaytambo, ciudad en la que está la estación de trenes para ir a la ciudadela inca de Machu Picchu.
Desde los apartamentos, te será muy fácil llegar a los principales sitios que podría ser interesante que visites durante tu estadía: La Catedral e Iglesia de La Compañía de Jesús (Plaza Mayor), Iglesia La Merced, Iglesia y Monasterio de Santa Catalina, Palacio Arzobispal, Iglesia y Convento de San Francisco, Casa del Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, Iglesia y Barrio de San Blas, Casa del Almirante; todos situados a pocas cuadras y en un rango de 20 minutos caminando.
Si lo que deseas es caminar un poco más, puedes llegar a la fortaleza inca de Sacsayhuaman y al sitio arqueológico de Q’enqo en un paseo suave de 25 minutos (1.5 km), en el trayecto hay muchos lugares interesantes por visitar. Como estamos ubicados en el centro de la ciudad hay mucha actividad comercial, por lo que podrás encontrar pequeños negocios, tiendas, cafés, lavanderías, estacionamientos, gimnasios, etc.
El transporte público a veces puede ser algo caótico en Cusco pero tendrás la facilidad de usarlo si lo deseas (es una experiencia interesante), ya que las principales líneas de buses pasan a menos de dos cuadras del apartamento y en ellas podrás desplazarte a cualquier parte de la ciudad rápidamente, el costo de los pasajes de bus es muy accesible. También puedes usar los diversos servicios de taxis seguros a un muy buen precio.

The apartments (Munay House 1 and Munay House 2) are located in the Historical Center of the city, 5 blocks from the Main Square, where you can find squares and streets of Inca and colonial architecture, as well as banks, museums, galleries, restaurants, coffee shops, pubs and bars, and commercial stores and craft markets. 3 blocks away is the Temple of the Sun - Qorikancha, this was the epicenter of Inca Religion and Inca power. Currently there is an interesting Museum of Contemporary Art, a gallery with colonial art and archaeological remains of the ancient Inca temple dedicated to the Sun God.
Two blocks away you have a modern supermarket where you can find everything you need for your stay. Another important point to note is that you will be very close, only half a block away, from the bus terminal that will take you to Ollantaytambo, the village where the train station is to go to the Inca city of Machu Picchu.
From the apartments, it will be very easy to reach the main sites that could be interesting to visit during your stay: The Cathedral and Church of the Company of Jesus (Main Square), the Merced Church, the Church and Monastery of Santa Catalina, the Archbishop's Palace, the Church and Convent of San Francisco,the House of the Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, the Church and District of San Blas, the House of the Admiral; all located a few blocks away and within a range of 20 minutes walking. If what you want is to walk a bit more, you can reach the Inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman and the archaeological site of Q'enqo in a gentle 25 minute walk (1.5 km), and on the way there are many other interesting places to visit. As we are located in the center of the city there is a lot of commercial activity, so you can find small businesses, shops, cafes, laundries, parking lots, gyms, etc.
Public transport can sometimes be somewhat chaotic in Cusco but you will have the ease of using it if you wish (it is an interesting experience), since the main bus lines pass less than two blocks from the apartment and you can move anywhere from the city quickly. The cost of bus tickets are very affordable. You can also use the various safe taxi services at a very good price.
