We at InkaNatura Travel. are specialists in Natural Protected Areas (ANPs) and Private Conservation Areas as our main objective is to contribute to the conservation of our Peruvian jungle and promote sustainability.

Enjoy the benefits of Natural Protected Areas:

ANPs can inspire adventure and exploration, invigorating the mind, body, and spirit.

Being outdoors and enjoying nature lowers stress levels and boosts immunity.

ANPs are already working to implement safety and health protocols to be relaunched as safe and healthy places.

Today is the international day of the , here are 5 important facts:
📍 The tapir belong to the order Perissodactyl, that means that the tapir is a relative of the horse and the rhino.
📍 It is the largest land mammal that lives in the Amazon, weighing between 100 to 240 kg.
📍 There are 5 species of tapir, 4 in America and one in Asia. In Peru there are two species: Tapirus terrestris and Tapirus pinchaque.
📍 In Peru, the tapir habitat is being highly threatened by deforestation and mining.
📍 Like many jungle animals, tapirs visit the clay licks almost every night, where they feed on the earth's salts.
Let's support by doing responsible tourism in Protected Natural Areas.
The video was made last year on the lodge in the Manu Biosphere Reserve.
