Welcome to La Chakana, we're a guesthouse focussed on connection and community, introspection and personal transformation. We've created a place for you, city professionals wanting to take a break, recharge and re-connect and to give your head a rest. It's a space to reassess self and reflect on how you do life and maybe come to a renewed sense of awareness, direction, purpose, and/or connectedness to your heart felt emotions, body awareness and intuition. We provide a safe, calming, community based home environment in the middle of nature just outside the town center with stunning views at the base of Pisac's sacred ruins. After my own brain started working differently 4 years ago, I came to realize that my persona was made up stories and none of them where true in any absolute way, even the most of serious thoughts like my identity as a chemist, my name, age or country of birth. I also came to realize that lots of people are living out their lives like they believe their story and frequently in an unsatisfying way, directed by rational and linear thinking, childhood conditioning and group behavior and beliefs, causing them to feel stuck in some rat race (yes like Neo in the move "The Matrix"). The moment you become aware that you are living a life that "others" expect from you or are in a career/life that was once was satisfying and energizing to you but it has not been for a long time. Or you are curious about a deeper understanding of the mysteries of life and consciousness. Than come stay with us as this house is created for you.This guest house is meant to be a connector for people on a similar search, or that are going trough wild spiritual/life transformation or/and want that deeper understanding of what this life is all about (without or without plant medicine). Guests also retreat to La Chakana before and after plant medicine journeys to integrate their experiences. You can be quiet, cook your dietas and connect as much as feels right. Our guests say we have the most mellow community feel in Pisac, the best mountain views of the ruins, the comfiest beds for their best sleep in their Peruvian travels, and guests are always meeting life long friends. Come join us, we'd love to support, connect and facilitate your transformation.
