Silencio y tranquilidad en estos dias soleados

July. This dry season presents a peculiar time in these days - regarding Corona Virus as well as the climate: Heavy rainfalls in the Amazon basin made the waters rising. Very untypical since usually the rivers and lagoons stay quite low.

We do not see rainbows frequently here at Cashibococha, but we were amazed by a beautiful nature-scenery: After a very unstable day with heavy rain, sunshine hours and a cloudy sky finally at the end of the day this amazing rainbow showed up.

Yesterday, we had a wonderful Sunday morning: We received a visit from our sloth-friend “Julio”.
It´s been a long time that we haven´t seen him at our Suisui Center. Even the dogs have been so excited that we had to defend Julio before Lisa menaced him.
After letting us take some beautiful pictures we enjoyed watching him from the terrace. Just in front of us he was making his way to drink some water before climbing up the next tree.
We are happy to have him again with us and hope he stays longer.

AQUATIC BUSHES - TAHUAMPAS
One of the most beautiful scenes of the Peruvian Amazon are the "Tahuampas" - aquatic bushes. ...passing through the shadows whilst the light sneaks through the trees is an unique experience.
There are two beautiful tahuampas existing on both sides of the Suisui farm and inviting for kayaking and boating.

Sonido de la lluvia que fascina, por ruidoso ventoso y desafiante, pero luego calmo y arrullante placenteros sueños a las 2 de la tarde
