En tiempo de los inkas, existían rituales importantes para el desarrollo político social del imperio.
El Warachikuy fue uno de ellos, está cereminia marcaba el paso de la adolescencia a la juventud.
Los adolescentes tenían que pasar ciertos ritos de fuerza e inteligencia para poder ser considerados adultos, poder formar parte del ejército, empezar una vida familiar o simplemente poder tener más beneficios.
