Explorer's Inn Within Tambopata National Reserve. A showcase of the Amazon Rainforest combining nature, research & "Feel and discover the luxury in Nature".

Situated fully within the Tambopata National Reserve (since 1975) it's a showcase of the Amazon Rainforest. Exotic undisturbed landscapes, and above all protected area with abundant flora and fauna. The lodge holds numerous biodiversity world records: Birds 596 species (Parker et al. 1994); Butterflies 1,234 (Lamas 1985, 1994); Dragonflies and Damselflies 151 (Paulson 1985); Horseflies 73 (Wilkers

on & Fairchild 1985) and Tiger beetles 29 (Pearson 1985). Combining tourism with research, and protecting the rainforest for the future of our children.

This makes to see where's the competition in order to protect their territory and food, which consist of leaves and fruits. So, when there's less monkeys in an area, the howls instead.
