There are moments in ceremony when the music stops being music.
When it becomes something you feel in your chest before your mind can name it. When the room shifts, and everyone in it shifts together, and something that felt stuck begins to loosen.
The jungle does something to sound. It opens it up. It opens you up. Like the trees and the river and the living, breathing canopy around you become part of the instrument... and suddenly the music that was always inside you has somewhere to go.

If you’ve done circle after circle and the changes still aren’t landing in your real life, THIS IS WHY.

The vine doesn’t grow alone. In the jungle, la medicina grows alongside roots, trees, other plants, other intelligences. It needs that ecosystem to reach the light.

Most people come to plant medicine without that ecosystem. The vision arrives. The clearing happens. And then the body doesn’t know where to put any of it.

The plant allies, the teachers you work with in a dieta, are the scaffolding that takes what the medicine shows you and weaves it into your nervous system, your relationships, and your actual life.

Nothing is more powerful than revealing the beauty you carry under the stories of pain, hurt, and grief.

The truth is…you are whole, complete, and beautiful. This is what the great cosmic mother reveals ceremony after ceremony.

The next step in the process of healing is to honor your insights. To put them into action in your day to day life.

What does this mean? Putting insights into action?

It can mean humming a song, nourishing your body with food and prayer, having a conversation with a good friend.

It can mean anything, really. The most important person to ask “how of I honor these insight?” is your Self.

There’s a kind of homecoming that doesn’t require travel. But sometimes, travel helps us find it.

Reconnection is the essence of what we hold space for at Hampuy House. Sometimes we need a container, a fire, a circle of others also remembering, to feel safe enough to return to ourselves. To reconnect with the answers deep within.

The plants don’t fix us. The ceremonies don’t complete us. They simply remind us of what has always been whole.
