It is a place to connect, meditate, read, write, practice yoga, art, music or enjoy the beautiful garden. We do workshops of
the quero’s shamans, sweatlodjes, Medicine work with the traditional master plants. My mission is to be you’re host and create a secret save space for transformation. I am a couch and can guide to unique quite places where i can help you to open up what you’re goal is and lighten the way to reach it. In the footsteps of the master Don Jose Campos i do hold ayahuasca ceremonies, a powerful master plant of the south american jungle what is used for decades for her healing powers and connection to creativity. Don Jose Campos is my teacher and he wants to share his knowledge so it can spread and help more people. He is famous for his jungle diets and i can organize that for you. I work aswell with the other master plan San pedro/Wachumma to connect with mother nature and the god(des) inside of you. Powerful teachings and beautiful work! For cleaning and rebirth we use a temazcal (sweatlodge), a 3/4 hour ceremony lled with medicine music and the healing of heath, grandfather re and the four directions. The quero’s shamans from the Ausangate area work with cocareadings, energy healings and offerings to Pacha mama (mother earth). I can connect with them and they can come to Sophia cottage or i can arrange a trip to the Ausangate to work with them. I guide in whole Peru and can give tips to make this trip one you want forget. A nice mix of the touristic places like Machu Picchu and of the beaten track, also welcome to ask for tips. I work with social projects what you can visit to volunteer, donate or buy their hand made and far paid products. Sophia cottage is in the middle of the nature and plenty ways to connect with the surroundings by foot or by horseback. You will nd Inca temples, lagoons, big rock formation, all kind of birds, butter ies, owers and plants. We are close to Ollantatambo a famous historic inca town where you can get the train to Aqua’s calientes the base town for the world wonder Machu Picchu. The famous Inca trail and the Larus trekking start close from the house and a day trip to Maras/Moray and Salineres is worth a visit. Plenty options to get out of the touristic places and wonder by you’re self in the nature and the inca history. Chicon mountain is a nice climb for the adventures people and drop down to enjoy the Larus hot springs after the hard work ;)
The hostel has nice quit rooms with mountain view and a dormitory for the budget travelers. You can use the living/ceremony room, full equipped kitchen, hot water showers and the garden. We have movies/music and books to share. We grow food and fresh herbs in the garden. Sophia Cottage Urubamba

Busterminal Urubamba:
Take the collectivo (minivan) to Yanahuara or a moto taxi. After the busterminal it is 10 minute drive towards Ollantatambo. You pass Sol y luna, Chalan, restaurant Muna, Hotel Rio sacrado where the train rail start on the left hand site, 2 traffic bombs and in-between a school. You are almost there, You pass a little yellow chapel on the left hand site and there you can say stop (bajo), look for the sign Makimanta on the left hand site. On the right hand there is a little dirt road going up (A purple stone with a black cat on the entrance). Follow that road, on the end left (see the black cat) and then a few 100 meters you see a yellow house with paintings that say Sophia Cottage. From Cusco you can take a taxi of collectivo/minivan (calle pavitos in Cusco) naar Ollantatambo and then you can get off at the main street below sophia Cottage.
