Our bungalow are really spacious and feature a very big terrace with wooden deck. They are modern but with local touch: all of our wooden furnitures are hand made by local artisans. The towel and curtains support are made by natural Kahaia wood and we tailored our own curtains. The property is enclosed and the garden is Car Free, meaning that you can leave your child play in the garden without any
risks. The bungalow has a spacious living room with a sofa (or single bed, depending on your needs), a bathroom with shower (hot water) and a double bedroom. All the beds feature orthopedic mattress. The big terrace has a deck where you can enjoy your breakfast, relax in the afternoon looking at the sailing ship passing by or admire the amazing polynesian sky, full of stars, during the night. This is our main business so we will be completely at your disposal! :)
We will introduce you to the polynesian culture, teach you to play Ukulele and Toere, dance the Tamure, weave coconuts palms...
We will show you the most photogenic spot on the island, direct you to the right excursion for your need and suggest you the best restaurant that Avatoru has to offer. We have contacts with diving school and excursion providers, so if you need help organizing your trip we will be more than happy to help you. We will do all what we can to make your trip memorable. And if you are looking for some privacy, we will let you live your own polynesian experience
Va'a i te Moana is probably in the best location in Rangiroa: Ohotu. The airport is less than 5 min by car. The Kia Ora, offering a beautiful bar with great cocktails overlooking the lagoon and dance shows is 900m away. The "Cité des Dauphins", where you can see dolphins having fun and jumping naturally in the waves is only 400m away. The Ohotu Dock is also very close by (less than 10 min walking). There you can take the taxi boat to go to Tiputa Village, there are some restaurants and diving clubs and every third Wednesday you can buy fresh fruits coming from Marquises. The area also has several shops selling handcraft products and souvenirs. Rangiroa does not offer public transportation. There are some taxis available on the island. We will offer free airport shuttle service and provide you with free bicycles.
