Our Story
D Alegre Traveller’s Inn was built in July 2007 as a family holiday house. The owner is originally from Alegria, who wanted to stay in a relaxing vacation home close to her family and childhood memories. With the booming demand for budget accommodation in the south of Cebu, from a simple abode, De Alegre Apartelle was created. This became the first budget hostel in the province of Alegria. Eventually, through the hardwork of its owners, the one building budget accommodation grew to a 3- building traveler’s inn with a floating bamboo function room. In 2011, De Alegre Apartelle was re-registered as D Alegre Traveller’s Inn upon its expansion. Not only does the inn caters to locale tourists, it also targets international guests, who are looking for value of their money. With its facilities, it can accommodate solo travelers, couples and group bookings. Furthermore, it can arrange tour activities upon request with no service charge. D Alegre boasts its beachfront location, accessibility to public transport, cleanliness and exceptional hospitality of its staff. In fact, the Inn has been featured to both local and international travel bloggers and has been a home to a few local TV network staff.
