Inaasahang aabot sa 42°C ang heat index sa Sangley Point, Cavite ngayong Martes, Abril 14, ayon sa PAGASA.

Pasok ito sa “danger” category (42°C–51°C) kung saan mataas ang panganib ng heat cramps, heat exhaustion, at maaari pang mauwi sa heat stroke.

Paliwanag ng PAGASA, ang heat index ay sukat ng pinagsamang epekto ng mataas na temperatura at halumigmig, na nagpapahirap sa katawan na magpalamig.

PAALALA: Uminom ng maraming tubig, iwasan ang matinding sikat ng araw, at manatili sa malamig na lugar hangga’t maaari.
