❤️ EVERYONE DESERVES A SECOND CHANCE ❤️
Last time, I posted about foreigners who became homeless here in the Philippines. Some of them once had a good life, but because of wrong decisions, difficult circumstances, or simply taking the wrong path, they eventually lost almost everything.
Now, one of them is staying with us at Vincent Resort Hotel.
Looking at his situation made me think deeply. Yes, we can help someone go back to their country. Sometimes, that may be the right answer. But what if that person doesn't want to give up yet? What if they are still willing to work, change, and rebuild their life?
Maybe instead of only asking, "How can we send him home?" we should also ask, "How can we help him stand on his own feet again?"
We are all human. We all make mistakes. Some mistakes are small, while others can cost us almost everything. But I don't believe a person's worst decision should become their life sentence.
If someone is genuinely willing to change, work hard, and start again, I believe they deserve an opportunity.
I don't want to help someone just so they can survive another day. I want to see them regain their dignity, earn for themselves, become independent, and one day be able to say:
"I was at the lowest point of my life, but someone believed I could stand again."
That's the kind of help I believe in. Not forever giving someone something, but giving them the opportunity to rebuild themselves.
Because today, it may be them who need a helping hand. Tomorrow, it could be any one of us.
A mistake can destroy a chapter of your life, but it doesn't have to be the end of your story. ❤️🙏
Sometimes, all a person needs is one opportunity, one person who still believes in them, and one real second chance.
