Hindi po pare-pareho ang may-ari, setup, at business model ng lahatng private resorts and staycations.

May ibang resorts like some venue-type ones, so kaya nilang mag-offer ng unli pax.
Kadalasan, low-maintenance ang mga ito, perfect for limited budget range. Example:
โ€ข Freshwater pool, kaya mas mababa ang cost sa treatment
โ€ข Multiple-bed rooms o walang AC, kaya mas kaunti ang utility costs
โ€ข Walang garden na kailangang i-maintain
