Housekeeping is an operational department of the hotel. It is responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance, and aesthetic upkeep of rooms, public areas, back areas, and surroundings.

Responsibilities
Cleaning: Dust, mop, sweep, and polish floors
Sanitizing: Clean and disinfect bathrooms, showers, and countertops
Changing linens: Make beds, wash bedding, and replace towels
Stocking: Replenish toiletries and maintain supply inventory
Laundry: Wash, fold, and store laundry
Guest requests: Respond to requests for extra supplies, room service, and other special requests
Safety: Report any accidents, damages, or safety issues
Compliance: Follow employer policies and safety regulations
