Drowning is a global challenge, but through dedication, training, and community action, it is entirely preventable. Training Successful!

On September 26-27, we held two days of training to help save lives.

Philippine Life Saving Antique brought together people who chose to learn skills we hope we never need. That choice shows love for others.

Every skill learned this weekend means someone is ready to help in an emergency. No family has to face it alone.

To everyone who joined: you came as neighbors and left as protectors. Take what you learned back to your homes and your communities.

Two-day 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗲 (𝗦𝗦𝗔𝗦) 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 was successfully conducted in Barangay San Roque, Anini-y, Antique, providing participants with essential instruction in water safety, proper swimming technique, and basic lifesaving procedures.

The training was organized by SK San Roque in partnership with Philippine Life Saving – Antique, whose certified trainors led the sessions held on August 22–23, 2026. Through a combination of theoretical instruction and hands-on practice, participants were guided in developing the knowledge and confidence needed to respond effectively in water-related emergencies.

With the training now complete, the community takes a significant step forward in its efforts to promote water safety awareness, ensuring that every family has access to at least one member equipped with basic lifesaving skills. 🌊🛟
