Two-day 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗲 (𝗦𝗦𝗔𝗦) 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 was successfully conducted in Barangay San Roque, Anini-y, Antique, providing participants with essential instruction in water safety, proper swimming technique, and basic lifesaving procedures.

The training was organized by SK San Roque in partnership with Philippine Life Saving – Antique, whose certified trainors led the sessions held on August 22–23, 2026. Through a combination of theoretical instruction and hands-on practice, participants were guided in developing the knowledge and confidence needed to respond effectively in water-related emergencies.

With the training now complete, the community takes a significant step forward in its efforts to promote water safety awareness, ensuring that every family has access to at least one member equipped with basic lifesaving skills. 🌊🛟

2 DAYS OF PHILIPPINE LIFE SAVING TRAINING 🛟🌊 | AUGUST 15–16, 2026

Two days of learning, teamwork, discipline, and Life Saving in action. From SAC Pool on Day 1 to Tarinting, Dalipe on Day 2, the training brought together rescuers and participants for hands-on activities, water-based exercises, and practical lifesaving skills.

A meaningful two-day experience focused on preparedness, teamwork, water safety, and the commitment to respond when lives are at risk. Every lesson, challenge, and activity added another step toward becoming more capable and prepared rescuers.

-Under Philippine Coast Guard MC 03-14 - The Philippine Life Saving Society (PLS) acts as an accredited training partner to prepare and certify professional lifeguards under these rules.

-Partnership with the TESDA and the Philippine Life Savings (PLS) TVET Academy Corporation, which is a fully accredited institutional provider authorized to run official TESDA training courses in Lifeguard Services NC II and Lifeguard Services NC III.

-The Department of Health (DOH) certifies that the PHILIPPINE LIFE SAVING SOCIETY has been a trusted partner in the Violence and Injury Prevention Program (VIPP) since 2012, playing a key role in developing the National Drowning Prevention Program, and is officially recognized to provide technical assistance for water safety in local government units.

3. Public Safety and Aquatic Rescue (PSAR) Responder Training
