be informed that Mt. OLIS VIEWPOINT will be 👉 starting MARCH 1, 2026 due to:
• Heavy and uncontrollable traffic conditions, especially in consideration of residents attending Holy Mass
• Scheduled Rest and General Cleaning Day for proper site maintenance
This closure is applicable to ALL VISITORS— including local residents and tourists coming from outside Atok.
🙏In addition, we would also like to ask for a public apology to the residents of Paoay, AT0K for the traffic that may be experienced during Saturdays and Holidays.
During peak days, tourist volume becomes unexpectedly high, resulting in traffic situations beyond our full control. Despite this, our traffic personnels are doing their very best to assist in managing the flow and help prevent residents from being stuck in congestion.
We also respectfully appeal to everyone especially our kailyans to refrain from shouting or directing hurtful words toward those managing traffic. They are doing their best in their duties and like all of us, they are human and deserve respect.
