The Balcony House in Doz, Balet, Samal island In the Balcony House we offer upper floor for rent! We also offer the Guest house! (It is a computer room with internet equipment and usually off limits.)

The upper floor of the Balcony House is for rent with the exception of one room at the back with a separate entrance and stairway. The upper floor is for rent at 13500 pesos per month or 4250/week including electricity, water, cooking gas and very good internet WIFI. Also included is the newly installed Cignal HD TV with the 990 plan. This floor has no air con, but 2 electric ceiling fans inside a

nd 1 in the balcony plus 1 free standing fan. The upper floor has the best wifi coverage since the router is located there. It is also possible to have a network cable connection here. The Guest House is a 2 bedroom house with living space, bathroom and small kitchen (about 80 sqm total space), which is located right next to the Balcony House. It is for rent at 13500 pesos/month or 4250 pesos per week including electricity. Price is for 2 people. Extra person is 250/night. Each bed room has 1 air con. This house is good for 4 people! The Tea house, located on the hill 200 meters from the Balcony house, is a rest house with 50m2 space inside walls, and a further 2meter wide roof covered porch around the whole house! It has free WIFI, TV, gas and electric fan, but no air con. It has 1 queen size bed (160cm wide). It is for rent at 13500 pesos/month or 5000 pesos per week. Our own Internet connection by IP-radio link is up and running, providing a complimentary internet connection for our guests! There is also a Honda XRM 125 cc for rent at 8000 pesos per month good for 2 people, as well as a Honda TMX 155 cc good for 4 people at 8000 pesos per month or 2000/week. The location is in a traditional fishing village close to the Bangus fish ponds. The accomodations are situated just about 150 meters from the ocean! The motorbike ride from Babak town center and the ferry landing to our village Doz, Balet is about 8 km and takes about 15-20 minutes. This is a genuine place not visited by many tourists! A typical Filipino Barangay village! People here are well known for their hospitability and friendliness! 2 so called sari-sari stores are about 30-50 meters away, where you can buy your beer, eggs, canned foods etc. At the back of one of the sari-sari stores they have 2 billiard tables you can use for 3 pesos per game! This is the ideal place if you like to stay a longer period in Samal Island, like a month or longer, away from the main tourist places, yet with a dedicated internet connection, and only 20-30 minutes ride away from some of the best beach resorts!! The property is owned and operated by the family of Mr. Niclas Wallin and his wife Marife Maniquez Wallin. Swedish/Filipino couple.

This floor has 1 air con in sleeping room, and 2 electric ceiling fans inside and 1 in the balcony plus 1 free standing fan. The upper floor has the best wifi coverage since the router is located there. The Guest House is a 2 bedroom house with living space, bathroom and small kitchen (about 80 sqm total space), which is located right next to the Balcony House. It is for rent at 22,000 pesos/month or 7000 pesos per week including electricity, cooking gas and internet. Price is for 2 people. Extra person is 250/night. Each bed room has 1 air con. This house is good for 4 people!

Our own LTE Internet connection is up and running, providing a complimentary internet connection for our guests! Ususally at around 10 Mbit/s, but going up to 20 Mbits/s or down to 5 Mbits/s sometimes. There is also a Honda XRM 125 cc for rent at 9000 pesos per month, 3000/week, or 1000 p./day. The location is in a traditional fishing village close to the Bangus fish ponds. The accomodations are situated just about 150 meters from the ocean! There is also a much longer fully cemented road (except last 300 m). This is a genuine place not visited by many tourists! A typical Filipino Barangay village!
